Beauty is definitely relevant to the individual! Some girls look great in them...but I'm not a fan...I wanted a side piece a few years ago...I still would, but I'm fickle and would change my mind about it shortly after...and now that I've had a Child... I'm glad I didn't get one! lol... besides that, I just like the look of a woman's body and appreciate her beauty as it is... I love skin... some people can sport tattoos and they can enhance certain parts of them... but when they fade and what? Bleh...I hate permanent makeup more, so I wouldn't compare them...tattoos can be much prettier than permanent makeup...badly lined lips are bad enough with just pencil, let alone permanent ink embedded in the dermis... also, makeup trends change... if you tattoo your eyebrows, what if you want to change their shape later? AHA!

However, I am all for piercings... I couldn't live without my nostril piercing, I feel like it really enhances my face... However, some piercings, like some tattoos, look stupid and are just distracting attention to the natural beauty of a face, rather than enhancing it. That... but piercings leave a little mark when you decide you're not digging them anymore... tattoos are very expensive to remove... I think I'm biased because I saw how my dad's tattoos faded now that he has fifty-something... I shudder...
